Students
I want to take the time to thank everyone who applied for leadership
in the 2009-10 Titan Band. In all cases, every effort was made to include
as many people as possible and I think that we were successful in this.
We are truly fortunate in our program to have so many great people in our
band.
Each leadership position is important---and each position will be defined
by the person that holds it. The more you do—the better the position is,
and the more of a positive impact you will have on the band itself.
Many of our leaders for next year are in grade 12, more so than in the
past. This is a natural part of the “aging” of our band. However, a good
number of leaders are younger as well. Underclassmen can already start to
plan for the following year as to positions that interest you!!
Again, my thanks to all of our applicants. I wish for all of you and
for the band itself the very best that next year can offer!!
