• 2008 VBODA State Marching Festival - Excellent Rating
• Midlothian Competition - The Cosby Titan Marching Band scored in the "Superior" rating range at the Midlothian Showcase of Bands on Saturday October 4, 2008. The band took 2nd place music, marching drum major and color guard in the AAA class and also took 3rd place general effect in class AAA as well. out of the 11 bands being scored, the Titans were 2nd overall in music, 2nd overall in marching, and tied for 2nd overall in color guard.
• 2009 All-District Band. Kyle Brod, Kennedy Carey, David Casalaspi, Chris Doyle-FIRST CHAIR!, Matt Eidson, Chelsea Gebs, Carson Haack, Brandon Hess, Zach McElgunn, Catherine Morgan. Long Nguyen, Aly Pompey--FIRST CHAIR!, Amy Ports, Lenny Ports, Jackson Shurlds, and Brandon Watson. Collin Schneide and Matt Taylor are alternates.
• Congratulations to the Titan Band for earning a unanimous SUPERIOR rating at the VBODA State Concert Festival on Saturday March 14th. The band was highly praised for their performance and earned 24 out of a possible 26 individual A's!! This is the third year in a row for the band to earn a SUPERIOR rating at this event.
